  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 10-12 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables:

  • 3 large russet potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
  • 1 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 cup green beans, trimmed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
    Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (about 15 minutes). Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Keep warm.
  2. Cook the Steak:
    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or to desired doneness. Add butter and baste the steak for an extra minute. Remove and let it rest.
  3. Prepare the Garlic Butter Shrimp:
