- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

- 10-12 large shrimp, peeled & deveined
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Mashed Potatoes and Vegetables:
- 3 large russet potatoes, peeled & cubed
- 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream
- 1 cup carrots, sliced
- 1/2 cup green beans, trimmed
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Prepare the Mashed Potatoes:
Boil potatoes in salted water until tender (about 15 minutes). Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Keep warm. - Cook the Steak:
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Sear for 3-4 minutes per side (for medium-rare) or to desired doneness. Add butter and baste the steak for an extra minute. Remove and let it rest. - Prepare the Garlic Butter Shrimp:
