Recipe
Ingredients:

  • 12-15 jumbo pasta shells (boiled and drained)
  • 2 cups spaghetti sauce
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 8 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp chopped basil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt & freshly cracked black pepper to taste
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan, egg, parsley, basil, oregano, salt, black pepper, and minced garlic. Set aside the shredded mozzarella for later.
  2. Stuff the Shells: Spread a layer of spaghetti sauce at the bottom of a baking dish. Fill each boiled shell with the ricotta mixture (an ice cream scoop makes this super easy!) and place them in the dish.
  3. Top & Bake: Cover the stuffed shells with the remaining spaghetti sauce, then sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top. Cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake: Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Serve & Enjoy!: Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy this cheesy, flavorful dish with garlic bread or a fresh salad!
