  1. Ingredients:
  • 1 (8–10 lb) fully cooked bone-in ham
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a roasting pan with aluminum foil and place a roasting rack inside.
  2. Score the ham by making shallow cuts in a crisscross pattern. Place the ham on the roasting rack.
  3. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, garlic powder, and black pepper. Stir until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the ham, ensuring it gets into the scored cuts. Cover the ham loosely with foil.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, then remove from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze.
  6. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ham to the oven, uncovered. Bake for another 15–20 minutes, or until the edges caramelize and turn golden brown.
  7. Let the ham rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
