4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup dry red wine

3 cups beef broth

1 cup tomato sauce

1 bay leaf

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 package (1 pound) potato gnocchi

Directions:
1️⃣ In a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
2️⃣ Add the chopped onion, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, until the vegetables soften.
3️⃣ Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
4️⃣ Pour in the red wine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes, allowing the alcohol to cook off.

6️⃣ Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
7️⃣ Stir in the potato gnocchi and let cook for another 5 minutes, or until the gnocchi is tender.
